Order, Pricing & Payment
Our quotes & invoices are valid for 30 days from their date. Our prices typically include measurements, fabrication, delivery, and installation, unless specified otherwise in your quote. All prices quoted are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Quoted prices are based on normal working hours (7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday). Work requested outside these hours may incur additional charges.
The quoted price may change if there are alterations to the size, configuration, or if unquoted options are requested after final measurement. Any such changes will be subject to a written Variation Invoice / Change Order, which must be agreed upon before additional work proceeds.
Payment Tiers:
For orders up to $600: full payment is required when placing the order.
For orders between $600 and $5,000: 50% deposit is due upon acceptance of your quote. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work.
For orders over $5,000: a written contract will be set up. This will require a 10% deposit, followed by 30% progress milestone payments, unless different terms are specified in your contract.
Milestones include placing orders, materials arriving on site, site measures, installations and so on. These will be communicated with you by phone, email, invoice or in your relevant agreement.
Payment is due strictly within 5 days from the invoice date.
Work is deemed complete upon final installation by Dural Glass, regardless of any further works required by other trades.
Dural Glass may charge interest on overdue amounts at the rate prescribed under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW) or its successor legislation, as amended from time to time. This is currently 6% per annum.
Should Dural Glass need to pursue collection for unpaid amounts, the Client agrees to cover all collection costs, including legal or agent fees. A $35.00 fee applies for each returned cheque.
NSW Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999
Any invoice issued by Dural Glass for construction work or related goods and services is a payment claim under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW).
If you intend to pay less than the claimed amount, you must provide a payment schedule within 10 business days of receiving this claim, clearly explaining the reduced payment. Failure to do so may result in the full amount becoming due and payable. If a contractor asserts non-payment from the owner, Dural Glass reserves the right to contact the owner regarding the project's payment status.
